At the Beechwood Luas stop you will find MIMA Coffee Company, a great little coffee shop that does fantastic coffees and food. There’s lovely outdoor seating too, perfect for these sunny days! It’s a recent discovery for us but a place we have returned to now a few times and really enjoy. We enjoyed a late breakfast / early brunch there before our holidays…
All the regular coffees are on the menu – espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white as well as teas and hot chocolate. There’s Vit Hits in the fridge too! The Breakfast menu is short but covers all the usual breakfast offerings with bacon & eggs… if you’re visiting for lunch there’s a selection of sandwiches on sourdough and wraps (I recommend the Tuscan wrap – tomato, pesto, mozzarella & rocket (and add the parma) and also the Ham & Swiss on sourdough – yum!).
On this visit, we enjoyed espressos, Vit Hit drinks, scrambled eggs & toast (€4.95) for me and a bacon sandwich (€5) for him. We sat outside in the sun, watching the world go by on luas, foot & bicycle!
Very reasonably priced, we had lunch there yesterday with 2 sandwiches, 2 Vit Hits and 2 Espressos for €21 and it’s all great quality. If you’re around and about, do pop in, very much recommended.
