Picking up a bottle of wine recently and needing (yes needing!) some nice chocolate to go with it, there was a few Bean and Goose Chocolate bars at the till. Two types with different tasting notes were on the shelf and we picked the Milk Chocolate from Ghana, 40.5% cocoa, Bold | Note of Hazelnut | Caramel.
This was easily the nicest chocolate I’ve tasted…and really lived up to the taste notes on the front, pretty perfect milk chocolate in my book.
Made in Ferns, Wexford by two sisters, Karen & Natalie Keane, from their kitchen they create small batches of single origin chocolate – bars and truffles – on marble slabs using traditional processes and natural ingredients to create handmade Irish chocolate. So its really delicious and Irish!
There’s milk and dark chocolate along with hot chocolate blocks (I know, imagine how delicious that would be!)… I will definitely be on the lookout for Bean and Goose chocolate for a little chocolate treat!
Happy chocolate eating everyone!
