Pizza at Quattro, Stepaside

If over the Christmas you are looking for something different to the traditional fare and live nearby head along to Quattro Pizzeria in Stepaside, a great little local eatery with the tastiest of pizzas. You can eat it or takeaway, or have your pizza delivered.

We have eaten in and had delivery from Quattro and both times the pizza was excellent. Woodfire ovens just make pizza taste good! Quattro is a casual and easy place to grab a bite to eat. Its quite nice having neighbourhood places like this nearby.

The restaurant itself is quite small, simple decor, lots of wood. The ‘kitchen’ space is big for all the pizza cooking & preparation. The menu is wider than just pizza – including pasta dishes, meat etc but really its what I recommend, don’t let the woodfire oven go to waste!

On our visit to Quattro we started with the antipasto between us, this was only ok, seemed more to be the meats and cheeses you would find on top of pizzas rather than real antipasto – probably not the thing to order and next time I’d try something different to start or just skip the starter and go for a large pizza!

BUT the pizzas were so good and that’s what you’re here for… He choose his own toppings, smoked chicken, sundried tomatoes and rocket while I chose the ‘pollo pancetta’ – smoked chicken, pancetta, mixed peppers, chillis.

Pizzas come in 2 sizes, 9.5″ or 12″ and range from around €9 to €15 depending on size and toppings. Wine list is good, some nice Italian options there along with beers and reasonably priced.

Enjoy!
