Its so warm and humid out there! This is the perfect little afternoon pick-me up refresher!
This will make about 500 mls of smoothie milkshake!
Ingredients:
- 250 mls milk (I used low fat super milk but whatever your preference is!)
- 3 tbsp natural yoghurt (I used Glenisk organic low fat natural yoghurt)
- 1.5 tbsp honey
- a handful of cherries (minus stones!)
- a handful of frozen raspberries (frozen is important to make it nice and cold!)
Simplest recipe ever – place all the ingredients in a blender and blitz til smooth! Enjoy!
The cute bottle jar is from Ikea here (it’s actually a vase and will set you back the princely sum of €1.25) and the straws from Tiger (love that shop and have a house full of notepads and pens, chopping boards, candles and napkins!).

This looks super yummy! I’ve never actually tried to make a smoothie using cherries (though I love them), I don’t know why. I think I was worried their flavour was not smoothie worthy. But I’ll give this a try 🙂
I was thinking similar before this, love cherries too and they work really well in a smoothie as it turns out. They probably do need another fruit to balance them like raspberries or strawberries…but I say go experiment, that’s the fun!
🙂
