- Sweet Potato
- Coarse Sea Salt
- Cayenne Pepper
- Olive Oil
Chop the sweet potato(es) into fries and lay them on a baking sheet – the trick in making these fries nice and crispy is to make sure they are not touching each other on the tray. I leave some of the skin on as I think it gives a nice texture to the fries but up to you.
Sprinkle over the salt and cayenne pepper (as much or as little as you like) and then a drizzle of olive oil all over the tray right before the tray goes into the oven.
Bake at around 180 degrees for about 20/25 minutes. This may vary depending on your oven – mine tends towards being hot and speedy…
